A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Three offset columns of the classic Bidjar pattern of lobed quatrefoils, with a palmette cone in each lobe, run the full height of the slate field. A thin vinery and leaf diagonal lattice adds to the formal character. Powder-ecru strip style border with ashiks and open arabesque cardioids. Post WWI Bidjar revival piece with robust weave and great wearability.
