A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. This village rug from the Bidjar weaving area shows a large, pale blue central regular hexagon, vertically flanked by ragged combs, and lateral chains of smaller stretched hexagons and fringed polygons.  All on a medium brown ground. Strip style main border with geometric revering turtles. Geometric, Kazak-like designs are characteristic of village Bidjars.
