The light slate/brown ground of this Kurdish town carpet shows a small-scale allover Herati design accented by small human figures. The brown border displays more little figures. The darker border effectively frames the lighter field. Cotton foundation. Light even wear. Unusual size, compact and solid weave. Good condition.
