A wool pile with symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The dark brown field features a well-drawn Herati pattern running uniformly from end to end. While Malayer weavers often twist and modify the Herati design, here they keep it traditional, with no animals or rearranged elements. The abrashed strip-style border displays a right-angled meander, adorned with rosettes and sickle leaves.
