A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The slate grey field presents a vertical repeat of partial staves and pairs of ecru squares with cross centers. The pattern is semi-geometric, with small, nested triangles and a few stylized animals. The main border shows a version of a Kurdish design with stepped squares enclosing four point convergent arrowheads. Secondary borders with mobile continuous herringbone patterns.
