An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. Bits of brick tone architectural details appear amongst the floral spays and leaves on the slate ground of this NW Persian urban carpet. Instead of solidly colored turtles, the yellow-beige main border employs open lozenges with small leafy “feet”.
