An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. On a sky pale grey field “snowflakes” and elliptical palmettes are closely fitted into an unusual allover design within light beige borders with escutcheon palmettes and slanted “fish” leaves with black central veins. This is an uncommon wll-woven NW Persian city room size carpet in both pattern and palette.
