Contemporary Turkish Peacock Inspired Room Size Carpet

A Wool pile on an all-cotton foundation. Forget the borders and focus instead on the light blue-green and purple field with seven offset rows of palmettes, sensuously embraced by softly curving, tall, partially forked arabesques in lighter and darker, yet mellow, tones. The light blue-green is comfortably abrashed. The pattern is balanced in all directions, and the enclosing arabesque elements all bend to the right, giving it a subtle waving motion.
