Asymmetric wool knots on a cotton foundation. The straw-colored field features a 2/1/2 layout of circles, each displaying a central phoenix and secondary writhing dragons. The cloud bands in the field support various precious objects, including a wheel, a knot, a book, and a game board. The golden main fret border is flanked by a pearled inner stripe and an uprising mountain repeat, with banded wave corners. A very unusual carpet, wholly distinct from the typical Peking production, and additionally presented in a rare size.
