A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This is an adaptation of an Anatolian design, with diagonal, ecru “zippers” running over a pale brown, naturally abrashed field. The zippers are square hooked to better attach to the field. Border of skinny, stepped lines in Vee, zig zag and slant configurations. The border comes visually forward as the field recedes.
