A wool Pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. A single, end-to-end lavishly fruiting pomegranate tree springs from vases at each end of the sand field. This is the most popular of all Khotan traditional designs and lends itself to all sizes, formats and colorways. The strip style border displays reversing knotted cloud heads, also a variant of traditional designs.
