A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The lightly abrashed cream field shows a nearly three column design of large, curled jagged leaves, palmettes, vinery, animal faced motives and other, lesser devices. A light teal green is the most important secondary hue. It is balanced by the light blue grey main strip style border with rosettes and ragged turtle palmettes. A worthy revival of an always popular antique type of carpet.
