A vintage Indo Tabriz Pictorial rug. Solomon is enthroned among his advisors, flunkies, demons (divs) and animals, with a fountain spouting below, all on a camel ground with a Simurgh wheeling above. The secondary borders contain poetic text referring to the scene while the main band displays portraits and Persian scenes. The iconography of Solomon enthroned varies in its population, but not its core reference.
