A vintage Persian Afshar rug. Boteh corners set off the vibrating nested hexagon central panel with its two disjoint serrated ivory lozenges and boteh infill. The main border of our SE Persian scatter has a dark brown ground with doubled leaves and thinly connected small diamonds.
