A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The dark chocolate field is adorned with three broken or complete offset columns of hexagons with curly edges, accented in ecru and soft rust. The ecru main border features floating octagonal 'coat' medallions. This is village work from the prolific Chahar Mahal district, where the Bakhtiari khans own the land and the Turkic villagers are responsible for the rug-making.
