A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The plain red subfield supports a tawny gold, leftward facing lion whose pelt is patterned with dots, a feather, and various small geometric devices. An inscription is set above the lion’s body. The ecru field bulges out in the corners and displays colorful birds on dotted reserves. Border on sides with Vees and rosettes, with a strong light blue. Qashghai work.
