Three offset columns of characteristic Karaja medallions – octagrams and hook-fringed hexagons – run up the light brown field with a supporting cast of stars, boxes, serrated leaves and multi-foliate flowers. Brown to slate main border with square clusters of double buds. Moderate, NW Persian rustic weave on cotton. Good condition.
