Vintage Persian Karajeh Runner

A wool pile of symmetrical knots on a cotton foundation. This nearly obliterated kenare (runner) features an ecru foundation field with the remnants of a navy medallion at one end. Scattered fragments of a straw-colored star border remain, with the piece showing significant distress to the point of near obliteration.
