Wool plainweave ground with wool complementary wrapping. This well-preserved khurdgin set shows a lattice and flower design in colored wool on a plainweave foundation, bordered by ecru squares. The bridge and backs are plain ecru cotton plainweave, and the braided closure loops remain intact and well preserved. Such pieces were typically used by tribal folk on horses or donkeys. A central slit in the bridge allows the set to be worn, though not in this case.
