A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Originally designed as a Herati pattern scatter, this piece has lost some elements over time, leaving only a few dark brown rosettes, palmettes, and chunky oblique leaves floating in a beige field, while the rest of the pattern gradually fades away. The palest blue-grey abrashed border features an outlined geometric floral and leaf scroll.
