On a dark slate ground is an arabesque binding rough and ragged palmettes curved leaves, rosettes and buds in a pattern generally seen on larger Mahal-style Malayer carpets. Sandy straw border of little petal palmettes, rosettes and leaves. Cotton foundation, medium west Persian village weave. Good condition.
