A wool pile with symmetric knots on a wool foundation. In the Transcaucasian Gendje style, the rug features a strongly diagonally banded field in ecru, teal, straw, and black, each adorned with small three-floret plants. The straw-colored main border displays a trapezoidal meander and cut-paper flowers. Likely Kurdish in origin. Made with natural dyes and handspun materials. An authentic and attractive rustic kellegi (long rug).
