A vintage Persian Tabriz Pictorial rug. A red and royal blue border featuring light blue acanthoids frames a rustic scene of two girls filling their water jugs from a meandering brook with two cows to the left, scattered trees and flowers all around and domestic building to the rear. The weave is quite fine and the rug is certainly a town creation.
