A wool pile with symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Nothing else resembles a Veece. The spacious rust-red field features the traditional hexagonal central medallion in ivory, edged by a straight bar and hooked fringe. Flattened lozenge pendants are echoed in the triangles jutting from the sides. The corner triangles are adorned with large claw hooks. Light blue serves as an important secondary color. The straw-colored main border showcases escutcheon palmettes and rosettes, including those in the corners. This carpet closely follows the main stylistic tradition of Veece weaving.
