A Wool pile with symmetric knots on an all-wool foundation. The deep indigo field features an unusual pattern of four red-tabbed hexagons, with thin oblique extenders, separated by stepped "architectural skyscraper" elements, which partially recur at the field’s ends. The darker central pair of skyscrapers disrupts the rhythm in a harmonious way. The marigold yellow main border showcases floating stars, a popular motif due to its simplicity in weaving. The piece has a solid, heavy weave.
