A vintage Turkish Anatolian Pictorial rug. The dark blue ground features a reflected double image of a rickshaw with two passengers and a parasol, and a single standing figure, also parasoled, seemingly adapted from a Japanese print.Handscroll format. There is some spot wear to the field ends and possible side reduction, but the scene is charming and the execution naïve. An interesting example of folk art.
