Vintage Turkish Anatolian Tribal Runner

This piece features a wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. One of a pair, this attractive kenare (runner) showcases a deep burgundy-brown field, organized by a tall pole medallion anchored by four geometric, segmented rosette-diamond medallions. The design develops pairs of extremely stylized leaves and palmettes. The tangerine main border features floating octagons, while the ecru inner stripe is adorned with chains of small triangles.
