A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The warm cream straw field shows a barbed primary arabesque vin pinned by petal palmettes, and with two larger ragged palmettes in the center line A somewhat offset rosette defines the design center. Oak leaves appear attached to stiff stems. The continuous red border shows two parallel swooping meanders of forked leaves and little barbs. A very attractive carpet with a few delightful tricks.
