A vintage Turkish Tulu Compartment carpet. An example of assemblage modern, this carpet utilized several mid-20th century Tulu rugs to create a much larger piece. Five vertical bands in light rust, straw, Pale grey-blue, buff, and salmon have been joined to form this borderless, contemporary carpet. The toes are pastel light and the resulting carpet appears larger and more expansive than it actually measures. There are no extraneous patterns to interrupt the Tulu color swatches.
