A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The slate ground features pairs of swirling, circling bitonal, curved “fish” leaves around small rosettes, with upright and lazy petal palmettes in attendance. In four columns. The rust strip style main border resents reversing Bidjar-style turtle palmettes. Sandy straw flanking minor borders display identical wiry meanders with round pendant flowers and tiny boteh. Robust construction and definitely long wearing in any context.
