A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The cochineal red ground sets off the victory of a bearded Achaemenid king over a rampant winged lion. The action happens in a niche whose arch is supported by Persepolitan spiral fluted columns. Medium blue spandrels both with lion and bull combats. Simurgh, tortoise and snake in the field below. Navy main border with rosettes and upright blossoms. Lavar quality.
