An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. Minimalism is in, but that does not imply that good design is out. Case in point: the pattern of this light-toned Tabriz carpet has an ancestor in the 17th century Kerman “Vase carpets” with its diagonal and erect palmettes, and discreet connecting vine trellis layers. Less is more, but too much less is nothing at all. We have kept the best elements and emphasized their details with shades of brown and green.
