Silk velvet pile ikat. A pair of parallel dark blue cypress trees dominates the cherry-red field, set beneath scalloped arches and an upper red lambrequin. The side borders feature joined cartouches. At the base of the field is a blue panel with an elaborate, reflected, and repeated inscription detailing the origin and maker of the textile. A possible date of 1803 can be discerned.
