A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The Chinese-style border shows ecru and dark slate panels with ribbon cloud bands, and cartouches in shades of old gold with vases. The old gold field is in a three by four all-over textile pattern with small enclosed cartouches. An implicit diamond of four small stars centers the pattern. Note the clever variation in the gold tones.
