A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The grey flannel-tone field shows an allover pattern of large diamonds and smaller layered chevron devices ultimately derived from African raffia velvets. The chevrons reverse course vertically. End main borders with half cartouches, and side borders with polychrome rain and occasional clouds.
