A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This closely and evenly woven piece shows a celadon green field embracing a cluster of variously colored grasses and flowers, including paeonies, with flowering branches, butterflies and characteristic clouds above. Inner gold border with dragons stylized into foliage and a main surround with giant butterflies, paeonies and leaves.
