A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. A tree grows to the full height of the field, bearing Buddha’s hand citrons and lychees, sheltering two similar pheasants standing on colorful scholar’s rocks below, while butterflies flit above on the celadon green field. Near black border with lotuses and flower sprays. Moderate, compact weave. Chinese, but not overtly so. Very versatile size.
