A wool pile with symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This section of a medallion village carpet features a madder red field supporting half of a navy octogrammed medallion, with internally projecting flowers and a central partial octagonal motif. Active, stylized ecru triangular corners accent the design. A strip of a navy, reversing turtle palmette border is present at one end. Moderate weave. In good condition.
