Weft-faced wool plainweave with weft-float and jajim technique borders and ornaments, on a wool warp. This large 3x5 square panel flatwoven carpet features a dividing framework in the weft-float technique, particularly in the small diamonds-in-squares. Zigzags in weft-float technique decorate the yellow ochre and scarlet panels. It is unusually large for a jajim and has an almost Moroccan wildness about it. In good condition.
