A vintage Persian Kashan rug. The carefully abrashed dark indigo open ground supports a central cream, light blue, orange, goldenrod and red central cruciform four palmette medallion somewhat akin to those found on Bakhtiari and Joshegan carpets. Four small light blue flowers decorate the corners. Not antique, but graphics and a great pillow. Rustic and bold, but from where?
