The light field presents a central nail fringed oval rosette, with a floating, yet disciplined, surrounding array of numerous types of palmettes including many-petal peacock tail versions. The Main border with an oblique palmette corner turns and reversing larger palmettes and smaller pinwheel palmettes. Brisk, shorter pile. Urban origin, but the restrained palette is consonant with informal furniture.
