A wool pile with symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Relief rows of warriors frame the Grand Staircase leading up to the Apadana platform, accompanied by a collage of various surviving Achaemenid ruins. The brown-black border features winged lions, rhytons, spear-bearing guards, and two winged Ahuramazda symbols, all rendered in grisaille tones.
