A Wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. Four more or less complete, squarish “bug” medallions in tangerine, pale blue, and charcoal, with ecru, pale blue, burgundy, and tangerine “bow tie” centers, parade up the long axis of this unusual, vintage kenare (runner). The border is relatively insignificant, but the snappy end finishes feature plainweaves with triangle mosaics. Probably from Central Anatolia.
